prison ministry

Emmanuel's Prison Ministry reaches beyond the walls to bring hope, restoration, and the love of Christ to those who are incarcerated. Through prayer, correspondence, and encouragement, we remind every soul that they are not forgotten, and that redemption is possible through faith in Jesus Christ.

unhoused community

Our unhoused Community Outreach extends a helping hand and a heart of compassion to those experiencing homelessness. Each year, we partner with Union Rescue Mission to serve meals and share hope during the Thanksgiving season. Through practical support, prayer, and fellowship, we remind our unhoused neighbors that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.

convalescent ministry

The Convalescent Ministry brings comfort, companionship, and prayer to residents in local care facilities. Through visits, worship, and heartfelt encouragement, we share the joy of Christ and remind our elders and those in recovery that they are still an important part of our community.

sidewalk sunday school

Sidewalk Sunday School takes place every 3rd Sunday in the Compton - side courtyard of Emmanuel. We open our gates and invite the community to stop by for a quick word, a snack and prayer if desired. Guests are then welcome to join our main Sunday School in the sanctuary - creating a warm bridge between our church and our neighbors.
