Serve Teams are groups of volunteers who work together to create a welcoming, Spirit-filled environment at Emmanuel. Whether you're greeting guests, investing in the next generation, running tech, or helping behind the scenes—every role matters.

Beyond the walls

(prison ministry)

Beyond the Walls is Emmanuel's Prison Ministry, sharing hope and restoration with justice-impacted individuals and their families. Compassionate, confidential, and consistent, Beyond the Walls invites volunteers to pray, visit, or give - because no wall is stronger than God's love.

Deaconess Board

The Deaconess Board serves Emmanuel through support of the 3 holy ordinances. Deaconesses' main responsibilities are to prepare baptism candidates, assist with communion, and foot washing services.

Deacons at Emmanuel serve through stewardship and care. They support the pastor, maintain order in worship, manage resources and assist in services so the ministry flows smoothly, and members feel seen and supported.

Evangelist Missionaries

Evangelist Missionaries proclaim the gospel with compassion - equipping believers, leading outreach, visiting sick, and offering prayer at the altar and in the streets. They teach, mentor, and mobilize soul - winning efforts so neighbors hear the good news!

Golden Ladies of Emmanuel - is our reimagined Mothers' Board: wise women leading with prayer, presence, and mentorship. They nurture families, support worship, guide younger women, and anchor church life with grace, counsel, and intercession - honoring legacy while embracing what God is doing today!

Hospitality

The Hospitality Ministry extends Emmanuel's welcome through smiles, refreshments, and thoughtful touches that help guests and members feel at home. The team hosts receptions, supports events, and coordinates follow - up, turning kindness into connection so relationships grow, and God's love is experienced by all who visit our church.

Media ministry

The media Ministry amplifies the message beyond our walls. The team manages video, livestream, graphics, and screens, capturing services with clarity. From sound checks to clips, Media helps worshipers engage in-house and online, sharing Emmanuel's story with accuracy and timeliness.

Music & Worship arts

Music & Worship Arts leads our congregation into God's presence through song, dance, musicianship, and expression. Choirs, praise teams, band, and artists prepare spiritually and musically to serve with excellence, guiding worship that unites generations and points our hearts to Jesus.

Special events team

Special Events Team hosts special invited guests at services and welcomes scheduled visitors to Emmanuel. They coordinate hospitality, seating, logistics, and gifting; liaise with pastors and ministries and ensure every guest experience war, organized, timely care from arrival through follow - up.

Sunday school

Sunday School builds strong disciples through Bible - centered teaching for all ages. Classes create interactive spaces to learn Scripture, ask questions, and apply faith to daily life. Caring teachers equip students to grow in knowledge and obedience as followers of Jesus.

ushers

Ushers at Emmanuel create a welcoming worship experience. They greet guests, assist seating, distribute materials, support offering and respond to needs with care. With smiles and service, our ushers ensure every worshiper feels seen, safe, and supported.
